It works fine with 6-8 contacts (the free version), more than that it doesnt swipe

No problems. Works great.

Has a huge flaw. When using the widget, many times it "fails to load", leaving a big black box. Please correct for an extra star.

You can do so much so much with an iPhone but until this app came along, it took an inconvenient number of steps to use it as an actual phone. This app is a great idea and very well implemented.
